I am the author and creator of History’s Heroes and Villains, an exciting collection of short graphic novels which is due for publication by Penguin Random House in July 2027.
I have also written over a dozen school textbooks and revision guides. These include the best-selling Invasion, Plague and Murder series for Oxford University Press, which is currently the most widely used KS3 course in UK schools.

Due to hit the shelves in July 2027, History’s Heroes and Villains harnesses the appeal and engagement of Marvel-style comics to tell the stories of some of history’s great figures and events.
Aimed at 9-12 year old readers, it includes comics on Cleopatra, 1066, Joan of Arc, Thomas Becket, Mary, Queen of Scots, The Gunpowder Plot, The Battle of Trafalgar, Florence Nightingale, Billy the Kid, Harriet Tubman, The Murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Rasputin, The Attack on Pearl Harbor and The Dambusters Raid.
